DESCRIPTION:On Monday July 24th at 1pm 1 of only 66 living recipients of our nations highest military honor\, Jim “Doc” McCloughan\, will be be at the Medal of Honor Society tent signing patches\, taking photos\, and helping Scouts earn the rare 2023 Medal of Honor Scout Jamboree patch. Jim McCloughan will be speaking at Leadership Heights earlier in the day at 12pm. \nHe plans on spending several hours greeting Scouts and doing photos and showing sharing his thoughts with them. Tent L46 from 1pm-4pm in the Legacy area. Doc McCloughan received his Medal for valorous actions in Vietnam saving dozens of men during an ambush firefight in the jungle.
