The badge can be completed in three sessions with us. Complete more to receive an additional prize. \nExamples of activities include:\nWheelchair Basketball (open afternoons only)\nBlind laser BB gun (open morning 20\, 21\, 24 & 28 only)\nNavigate an obstacle course on crutches\nExperience “invisible disabilities” in the Tent of Possibilities and Neurodiversity Tent \n  \nWhile experiencing the challenges\, work your way through a majority of the Disabilities Awareness Merit Badge.\nAdult Volunteers will have opportunities to earn legacy Special Needs Scouting patches! \nThe activity will be closed 12noon- 1pm each day in order to take a lunch break.

DESCRIPTION:Come explore the world of theater!  The theater merit badge is an exciting program\, exploring all different aspects of the performing arts: acting\, writing\, directing\, set design\, costume\, design\, props\, lighting and more.Our counseling staff includes a Tony nominated Broadway producer\, a New York City acting and directing coach\, and a specialist in lighting design and technical components. The badge can be completed in three sessions with us. Prior experience in high school or middle school theater is helpful\, but not mandatory.And we have neat stuff from Broadway and off Broadway to see! Come visit.
