Leadership Heights at the 2023 National Jamboree offers Scouts a transformative journey through three key components: Experiences, Speaker Series, and Elevate. This immersive program is designed to challenge and inspire Scouts, equipping them with invaluable leadership skills and empowering them to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
Experiences: As Scouts reach the summit, they embark on an exciting adventure filled with interactive experiences that push the boundaries of their leadership abilities. From problem-solving challenges to team-building activities, these experiences provide Scouts with hands-on opportunities to develop their communication, decision-making, and collaboration skills.
Speaker Series: Leadership Heights brings renowned leaders from various fields to share their insights and wisdom. Scouts have the unique privilege of hearing from influential figures in industries, nonprofits, universities, and the military. These engaging speakers inspire Scouts to think critically, broaden their horizons, and ignite their passion for leadership and service.

- General Stanley McChrystal – Former commander of US and International Forces in Afghanistan
- Deborah L. Birx, M.D. – Former White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator
- Scott Pelley – 60 Minutes Correspondent and Former CBS News Anchor and Managing Editor
- Elaine P. Ho – Chief Diversity Officer at NASA
- Brad Tilden – Retired Chairman and CEO of Alaska Air Group and incoming 39th National Chairman of the Boy Scouts of America
- Eric Traupe – Former Assistant Director of the Central Intelligence Agency
- DeDe Halfhill – Renowned Leadership Expert and USAF Colonel
- Hakeem Oluyesi – Astrophysicist, and Former Space Science Education Lead for NASA
- Guy Snodgrass – Former TOPGUN Instructor and Pentagon Communications Director

Elevate: The pinnacle of the Leadership Heights journey is the Elevate experience. This interactive show invites Scouts to reflect on their personal growth throughout the program and commit to a future goal. Scouts will leave Leadership Heights with a renewed sense of purpose, ready to contribute to their local, national, and global communities. Their committed goals will be showcased throughout the Jamboree, inspiring others and fostering a culture of leadership.

Outside of the standard programming at Leadership Heights, two keynote presentations will be available for all participants held at the Delta Basecamp Stage.
- Monday July 24 at 4:00 PM: All Jamboree Event featuring Julie Sweet, CEO Accenture, and General Stanley McChrystal
- Julie Sweet, ranked as one of the most powerful women in the world, and Stanley McChrystal, US 4-Star General, will speak about their life lessons in leadership. This is a must attend event featuring world-class leaders sharing their insights impacting Scouts as the future leaders of our country.
- Thursday July 27 at 3:00 PM: All Jamboree Event featuring Scott Pelley, CBS News and 60 Minutes Correspondent, the US Air Force Band and final Jamboree ceremonies
- This will be the final gathering of all Scouts at the Jamboree featuring Scott Pelly, CBS News, sharing his insights impacting youth as the future leaders of our country.
