At the heart of the 2023 National Jamboree lies a commitment to inclusivity and ensuring that every Scout has an opportunity to participate, regardless of their financial circumstances. To make this vision a reality, the Boy Scouts of America introduced the Platinum Packages, generously sponsored by Moritz Embroidery, as a means to fund scholarships for Scouts in need.
The Platinum Packages, priced at $250 ($200 in being a donation and $50 in cost of items, packaging and shipping), included exclusive Jamboree memorabilia and served as a way for Scouts and supporters to contribute to the scholarship program. Thanks to the overwhelming response, all 1,500 Platinum Packages were sold, raising over $330,000 in net proceeds. These funds were carefully allocated to provide scholarships, enabling Scouts who would have otherwise faced financial barriers to attend the Jamboree.
The impact of these scholarships cannot be overstated. They provide life-changing opportunities for Scouts, allowing them to experience the transformative power of the Jamboree, forge lifelong connections, and develop essential skills. Through the generosity of Scouts and donors, the Platinum Packages exemplify the spirit of service and ensure that no Scout is left behind.
