Action Point Village

Alumni Adventure Complex-

The Alumni Adventures Complex has information about a variety of BSA Alumni groups, BSA’s high adventure bases, the new OA Alliance, opportunities to network with alumni in various career and interest groups and a branding station to brand your own gear. We hope to see you soon!

Alumni Communities (Affiliate Groups, Affinity Groups, and BSA Partners)

The BSA Alumni Association has developed its Alumni Relations Exhibit specifically to help dispel the notion that Scouting ends at 18 years of age. Historically, when Scouts go off to college, military careers, and various other occupations, many never return to the Scouting program…or when they do, it’s not until their own children enter the program. As such, the BSA Alumni Association has developed an umbrella of Alumni Communities to serve as connection points to keep Scouts engaged. Whether it’s NESA, the OA Alliance, ATAS, Health Care Professions, Educators, Firefighters, High Adventure Base Staff Associations, etc., be sure to stop by and see what connections you find interesting.

Scouts, Venturers, and Sea Scouts, are you interested in conservation? Did you know that the Distinguished Conservation Service Award (DCSA) is the highest conservation award in Scouting and is one of the rarest recognitions? Did you also know that one of your DCSA projects could also be used to fulfill the Eagle Scout Project requirement? If you would like to learn more about how you could receive double credit for one of your DCSA Projects, come by the NESA Exhibit in the Alumni Adventure Complex and see Mr. Mike Perkins, who will share with you and help you understand the process of earning your DCS and Eagle Scout Awards. The NESA Exhibit is open daily from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Come & Play-

Adjacent to the Alumni Adventure Complex, an area will be set-up for Scouts to enjoy outdoor games including Giant Jenga, Uno, Cornhole, Yard Yahtzee, Timber Tic-Tac-Toe, Puppet Drinker Games, Musical Trivia, a Scavenger Hurt, Jumbo Bingo, and various board games.
