Bugling has been used in the military and scouting as a way to communicate information. Bugling is also used as a way to recognize the service of active service personnel and veterans at funeral services. Bugles Across America who are offering the bugling merit badge sound taps at thousands of funerals every year. If you have previous experience playing an instrument you may be able to complete the full merit badge.
