We are so very pleased to have our NESA Master Woodcarver Jim Schmitz return as an artist in residence during the 2023 National Scout Jamboree.
Jim Schmitz from Parsons, Kansas is an extremely talented artisan who will be at the NESA Exhibit in the Scott Summit Center in Action Point for his third onsite artistic creation.
His first creations, Scout Poles that were created in 2013 and 2017 will be on display in front of the Exhibits. Scouts, Scouters, and visitors alike will have an opportunity to participate in creating the next work art – an Eagle Scout Tableau. This activity is open throughout the Jamboree all day except Sunday, July 23rd.
