Important Program Information

  1. Rafting may conflict with another scheduled event if you have a contingent dispersed in multiple subcamps. Do not worry. Stop by Pigott HQ upon arrival and we will deconflict the schedule and get you all four scheduled events.
    1. We commit to getting 100% of the participants with a conflict all the events IF they come to Pigott in the first 24 hours after arrival.
    2. Summit Apex schedule will get priority. This means that if you have rafting and Apex on the same day, we will reschedule your rafting.
    3. Rescheduling will NOT be done before arrival. Please just wait and come see us at Pigott HQ after you set up camp.

 

2. Unless rescheduled by Program staff at Pigott HQ, you must attend your program at the assigned time. These events have limited logistical capacity and there is not enough flexibility to handle walkups.

    1. All of these events run regardless of weather. Bring rain gear!

 

3.If your contingent is in multiple subcamps, you will be split for many of the scheduled activities.

 

4. A limited number of additional rafting tickets will be made available at the Jamboree. No new sales will be made until the third day of the Jamboree so that we can reschedule all conflicting itineraries for those that paid in advance.

    1. If you plan on trying to purchase a ticket at the Jamboree, please have your parent/guardian sign a waiver and bring it with you.

 

5. No participant will not be permitted to raft without a signed waiver. All youth require the signature of a parent or guardian.

 

6. Rafting will operate a full day/three scheduled departure times, including Thursday the last day of Jamboree.

 

7. Dinner for nights at Summit Apex will only be available at the event in Echo Basecamp. There will be no dinner service in subcamps that night.

9.Some scheduled events will conflict with Basecamp Bashes. There are Four Basecamp Bashes and all troops will have at minimum two of them available to them based on the schedule.
