Q: How do I download the app?

A: Simply visit your device’s app store (iOS or Android) and search for “Jamboree.” Download and install the app to get started.

 

Q: How do I customize my schedule?

A: Once you’ve downloaded the app, create an account and navigate to the schedule section. You can do this by navigating the “General Schedule” and tapping the plus (+) button on each activity. Once added, go to “My Schedule” and you’ll see your custom schedule! Browse through the available activities and add your preferred items to create your personalized schedule.

 

Q: I need to report an emergency. How can I do it through the app?

A: Navigate to the “Safety & Emergency” folder and follow prompts for your situation.To report an allegation of abuse, violations of BSA guidelines or policies, inappropriate behavior by a Scout/Scout leader/parent/other, call the following number 304-465-2900 or email [email protected].

Incidents can be reported to your subcamp headquarters. Incidents include any injury or illness beyond basic Scout-rendered first aid or property damage. You may be asked to complete an incident report that will be sent electronically. In case of emergency, call the Jamboree Coordination Center – JCC at 304-465-2900.

 

Q: How can I view wait times for program activities?

A: Navigate to the program wait times section. You’ll find real-time updates on wait times for various activities, helping you plan your day efficiently.

 

Q: How do I sign up for the zip lines?

A: We will set up a check in station at the bottom of each Zip (the Big Zip and Gateway Zip). The check in process starts at 7 AM. At the beginning, the Scouts go straight up. Once there is a backlog, we issue a ticket with a time on it with an “appointment window” for a slot. It is a totally manual system with no online option. At some point we will declare the activity closed for the day when we have issued the number of tickets that we have the capacity to send down on a given day.

A: iOS Devices:

  1. Force quit the app by swiping the app up from the multitask screen.
  2. Uninstall the app by touching the app icon with a long press and select remove app to uninstall.
  3. Redownload the app via the Apple App Store. App is called “2023 National Jamboree” by Guidebook Inc.
  4. This process may have to be repeated several times.

Android Devices:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Click on “see all apps”
  3. Locate the “Jamboree” app & select.
    1. Force quit the app
    2. Clear your data in the app: Tap storage and then clear storage
    3. Clear your cache within the app: Tap storage and then clear cache
